Flambeau High School Graduation Requirements
A Student must be in attendance for four (4) years and enrolled full-time.
The minimum number of credits required to graduate is 26.5.
Minimum Required Courses:
Computer Technology

Courses that meets this requirement are Computer Applications I and Computer Graphic Arts.
English
4.0 Credits
Students are required to take English 9, 10, 11 and 2 semesters as a Senior.
History (Social Studies)
3.0 Credits
Students are required to take World History, US History and US Government.
Science
3.0 Credits
Science requirements are Biology 1, and 4 more semesters of Science. Fundamental Science Skills may be used to meet the Science requirement, but is not recognized by colleges and universities as an admission requirement.
Math
3.0 Credits
Consumer Math and Applied Math may be used to meet the Math requirement, but are generally not recognized by colleges and universities as an admission requirement.

Physical Education

Co-ed Physical Education meets every day for one semester. Students must take Physical Education in Grades 9, 10, and either 11 or 12.
In accordance with the 2011 Wisconsin Act 105, students who participate in a WIAA sanctioned sport have the option to take an additional .50 credit of English, social studies, math, or science in lieu of .50 credit of Physical Education. The substitute credit option does not count as a P.E. credit. (This option simply allows an eligible student to take .50 credit of a different course rather than .50 credit of physical education.)

Electives must consist of courses from different areas of study (i.e. Agriculture, Art, Business, Foreign Language, Math, Science, Music, Social Studies, Technology Education, etc.)
Service Learning
40 hours
Students must complete 40 hours of unpaid service learning during their 4 years of high school. Ideas for service learning opportunities can be found on the Flambeau website or from the Guidance Counselor.
